The brands
Parawing brands
We cover eleven parawing brands: BRM, Ozone, Gong, Duotone, F-One, Flysurfer, North, Ensis, Flow Paragliders, Aeryn, and Sroka. Each takes a different approach, from BRM's category-creating Kanaha to Flysurfer's foil kite engineering and Sroka's push to depower bar. Others have entered the category since and are not covered here yet. Use this directory to see what each of the eleven brings to the parawing market.
Paraglider heritage meets parawing foiling
Ozone
Ozone brings decades of paraglider and foil kite expertise to the parawing market, built on its own factory in Vietnam. Its two designs pull in opposite directions: an all-rounder rated among the best upwind performers in the category, and a wing that trades upwind angle for the fastest stash and redeploy cycle available. The all-rounder reached its second generation on 1 May 2026, borrowing its shortened bridle from the stash specialist, with the V1 still selling as run-out stock.

Accessible pricing, proven performance
Gong
Gong refreshed its entire Lowkite range on 20 April 2026: five models with half-size increments from 1.5 m² to 7 m², spanning both single-skin and double-skin construction. Pricing still starts lower than any competitor, which makes Gong at once the cheapest way into the sport and the broadest lineup in it.

Hybrid design from a water sports giant
Duotone
Duotone entered the parawing market with a hybrid single/double-skin design, now in its second generation. Developed by Ken Winner, it combines ultra-lightweight 30g paragliding ripstop with double-skin tips for enhanced stability. Backed by one of the largest dealer networks in water sports.
The brand that started it all
BRM
Founded by Greg Drexler in Maui, BRM launched parawing foiling as a sport with the Maliko V1 in August 2024. The lineup restructured in 2026: a new single-skin flagship arrived on 30 April, one model was discontinued outright, and the rest became legacy stock running down. BRM remains the benchmark every other brand is measured against.

Early mover with intuitive handling
Ensis
Ensis was the second brand to market, launching in late 2024 just months after BRM. Designed around ease of use, its parawing uses colour-coded bridles and a 3-Point Bridle System that simplifies setup and reduces tangling. Now in a second generation that adds low-end power and expanded sizing.
Reflex airfoil innovation from Australia
Flow Paragliders
Flow use a reflex airfoil design that virtually eliminates canopy collapse, a feature unique in the parawing market, now in a second generation. Built with premium Porcher Skytex canopy and Liros Technora lines, and engineered for maximum stability and safety.
Budget-friendly power kite heritage
Aeryn
Aeryn is backed by Equipe Trading, the Dutch group behind Peter Lynn and PLKB, bringing two decades of ram-air kite design to the parawing market. Their single-skin design uses a spliced Dyneema bridle and a trailing edge micro rod for shape retention. Priced at the budget end of the category.
Premium all-rounder from a water sports giant
F-One
F-One entered the parawing market in 2025 and independent testers quickly ranked its parawing among the best all-rounders available. Built with Porcher paragliding fabric, LIROS bridles and a carbon bar, it spans 1.9m to 6.5m across 8 sizes, the widest span of any single model, and pairs that with exceptional upwind performance.

Downwind specialist from a kiteboarding giant
North
North Action Sports entered the parawing market with a purpose-built downwind foiling tool, using a unique Depower Tab for instant power management. Their D-Rib technology simplifies the bridle system while maintaining canopy stability. A newer upwind-capable all-rounder is listed too, though full sizing and independent testing data are still emerging.

Flysurfer
Flysurfer brings over two decades of foil kite expertise to the parawing market. A four-bridle system with pulley-controlled profile adjustment delivers arguably the widest usable wind range and strongest upwind performance in the category. Purpose-built from the ground up for parawing foiling.
Push to depower bar from a French foil brand
Sroka
Sroka Company, the French foil and wind sports brand founded by three time kitesurfing world champion Bruno Sroka, has entered parawing foiling. Their wing is built around the PushBar System, a 32cm carbon bar that Sroka says delivers true sheet in, sheet out depower when hooked into the included harness line. We have not tested it yet, so coverage is based on manufacturer claims.
